About this Organization:

Empowerment Group is a non-profit organization comprised of an energetic, highly dedicated group of staff, volunteers and Board of Directors. Empowerment Group was founded in 1999 in response to the collective passion of its founders. They wanted to improve the landscape of economically distressed communities in Philadelphia. Over the years, Empowerment Group has been dedicated to helping people become self-sufficient. The primary way Empowerment Group does this is by teaching foundational business skills to practicing and aspiring entrepreneurs, and youth in low-income communities.
