A panel consisting of a Venture Capitalist, two Angel investors and a recently funded entrepreneur will share their experiences with the funding process. The first 30 minutes will be devoted to each panel member describing his unique perspective and experience. The remaining time will be spent as an interactive Q&A.

Wayne D. Kimmel is a Managing Partner of ETF Venture Funds. Since 2000, under Kimmel’s direction, ETF Venture Funds has invested in several successful companies such as: SeamlessWeb (sold to ARAMARK) , Take Care Health Systems (sold to Walgreens), NutriSystem (NTRI), ranked by Forbes as the best small company in the United States, and Philadelphia Media Holdings (owner of the Philadelphia Inquirer, Philadelphia Daily News and philly.com).

David Twersky has over 25 years of corporate executive experience as the founder and CEO of Dixon-Shane Drug Company, a Philadelphia-based wholesale distributor, manufacturer, and packager of branded and generic pharmaceuticals, servicing government agencies, retail pharmacies, medical clinics, and managed care organizations. Under his entrepreneurial leadership, the business grew to $40 million in sales in 2002, when David negotiated the sale of his company.

Robert Schaeffer, President, Market Development Group selects venture investments for its funds and when appropriate may team up with others to add value as investors and advisers. A fundamental criterion is the likelihood of a company to establish and sustain a competitive market advantage.

Fred Hawkins, Founder & CEO, Finpago founded and is the Current CEO of Finpago, Inc., a consumer healthcare payments company that automates the consumer use of health care spending accounts at pharmacies. Finpago provides its services in partnership with leading retailers including CVS/pharmacy, Stop & Shop and Giant Food to consumers and their employers.
