A Tale of Investments on Two Coasts

Technology investing on the east and west coasts is competitive. Competition for innovation leadership, deal flow and funding is not as bloody as the French revolution or the wars between England and France. However entrepreneurs in New Jersey must increasingly consider competition from west coast startups as globalization expands.

Wayne will offer personal observations on trends, differences, strengths, and weaknesses with emphasis on the greater New Jersey area. He has managed businesses on both coasts, as well as globally. Wayne has over 40 years experience in entrepreneurship, general management, new ventures, mergers and acquisitions, advanced materials, environmental protection products, energy conservation technologies, specialty chemicals, technology transfer, angel investing, and other business and technological areas.
