The Philadelphia Chapter of the Institute of Management Consultants announces the April 17th, 2009 breakfast meeting “Price it Right”. This program will explore various pricing strategies for management consulting such as project vs. time/materials, fixed fee vs. retainer, etc.
Attendees will:
• Review the major forms of pricing
• Describe strengths and weaknesses of each
• Identify pricing styles suitable for various types of engagements
• Provide case examples for each type
• Address your questions on various pricing dilemmas
Leading the session is George Millward, Treasurer of the IMC Phila Chapter Board. George owns Millward Consulting LLC, which specializes in consulting to the financial services industry. His engagements range across assisting the formation of start-up banks and investment companies, advising on business strategy for high performing companies, leading process change efforts, advising on financial management, and fixing (and, at times, leading as Interim CEO) troubled businesses. Prior to forming Millward Consulting LLC, George served as an executive for both a start-up bank and a well-established Mid-Atlantic area regional bank.
