DocAsap.com is a Philadelphia-based online platform that lets patients book doctor appointments at a click of a button and at zero cost, 24 / 7. DocAsap consists of a search engine that lets patients instantly research doctors and dentists and find the best available time slot. By matching patients in need of care with real-time physician and dentist availability, DocAsap seeks to increase access to care for patients and drive incremental patient visits for doctors and dentists.

DocAsap, set to launch publicly in Philadelphia this summer, is incubated at the University of Pennsylvania's Venture Initiation Program and was a 2009 Wharton Business Plan Competition finalist. The founders of DocAsap, Puneet Maheshwari and Vicente de Baca, are recent Wharton MBA graduates with over a decade of entrepreneurial experience at online and software start-ups. DocAsap's advisory board includes Dr. Ron Barg, the Senior Medical Director at the Clinical Care Associates of the University of Pennsylvania Health System and Tamim Mourad, founder and former CEO of PriceGrabber.com.
