Joint UX Summer Picnic

Saturday, August 22 2009 1:00pm - 4:00pm Presented by:

Please join PhillyCHI, UsabilityNJ, UPA Delaware Valley and PANMA for a family-friendly affair (children and significant others are more than welcome). We’ve reserved a pavilion at the historic Washington Crossing State Park, located right on the Delaware River. Feel free to bring Frisbees, wiffle ball sets, or any other items to add to the festivities. Park amenities include historic buildings, monuments, trails, scenery, etc. that you can explore before or after the picnic.

We have reserved the General Washington park pavilion, which is a covered pavilion with picnic tables and grills. Bathroom facilities are located next to the pavilion. Food and drinks will be provided by none other than Marilyn Tremaine from UsabilityNJ (we hear she’s a fantastic cook). The menu will accommodate children, vegetarians, and meat-eaters. It will also be appropriate for people with a variety of allergies and other dietary needs.

Please note that alcohol is not permitted in the park. Dogs are welcome at the pavilion as long as they are leashed (visitors must also clean up after their dogs).
