Buying a Company – Tricks of the Trade

Buyers tend to get involved in purchasing a company they find ‘interesting’. Get some advice from an expert to get the true picture. How to value the business; is it what you can do with it, or what the seller has done with it? What are values are in place today and how are they determined? There is currently a disparity between what sellers think the business is worth and what the buyers are offering. Will this continue? And, as much as you may have ‘fallen love’ with the business, always separate the emotions from the decision and maintain your objectivity.
