Pharmaceutical marketing has access to market research and analytic tools that marketers in most industries can only dream about. So, why is it so difficult to build a coherent strategy for influencing physician, payer and patient perceptions about pharmaceutical products and companies?
Come hear how one leader in the field sizes up these challenges. Our presenter, Daniel Kinney, will provide an industry overview of the state of pharma market research and lead a discussion among attendees on the evolution of market research into business intelligence in the pharma industry.
Danny leads the BMS Worldwide Business Intelligence unit, which has the mission of integrating a broad range of data- and analytics-themed corporate functions, including Global and U.S. Audits and Analytics, Sales Planning and Analysis, and Managed Markets Market Research. Before joining BMS in 2001, he worked at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York focusing on Emerging Markets. Danny holds an MBA in Finance and International Business from Columbia Business School, and an AB in Economics from Princeton University.
